She had attempted to visit Portofino when the community was first established but couldn't figure out how to get out of the airport until her friends Art and Allie helped her escape the airport and tore up her return ticket. Since then Ladi has settled in Portofino and made it her new home.

Do you hold any positions in Portofino?

Currently, I have two roles within the city. One involves assisting with licenses and permits for City Services, which I find truly fulfilling as it allows me to interact with others. It has been an enjoyable experience for personal development. My other role is as a volunteer dispatcher in the Communications department. Dispatching is a passion of mine, and I derive great satisfaction from it. Being the calm presence in a crisis is rewarding, as I can assist and guide individuals through challenging situations, ensuring they receive the necessary support. It is a remarkable position, although it requires a strong heart.

What do you love the most about Portofino?

I love the weather! This is incredible. I am living in a house boat, on the water. It is close enough to perfect.
