Pictured outside her business, High Life Cannabis Cafe, is Haleigh Rae McGregor, who has been a resident of Portofino since April. Haleigh and Ky, were searching for a place where they could feel at home. They finally decided to take the leap of faith and move across the country to California in search of warmer weather, and of course legal weed!

Do you hold any positions in Portofino?

Haleigh Rae McGregor: I am a part owner, along with Ky, of the High Life Cannabis Cafe. We specialize in all things THC-infused and edible! I have been a low-key stoner for much of my life and have always made my own edibles. So, with Ky's encouragement, I decided to put them out there for everyone to enjoy. Well, everyone who is legally able to. I absolutely love meeting like-minded people, and this business helps facilitate that.

What do you love the most about Portofino?

Haleigh Rae McGregor: Umm that's so hard to just pick one thing! I love the people the most! Everyone is always so friendly. But then there is the beach! Who the heck doesn't love a good ocean view?! I just make sure to buy loads of sunscreen.
