For this week's Meet the Resident; pictured outside her house is Gigi Johnson. She moved to Portofino two months ago, seeking family, friends, and job opportunities.

Do you hold any positions in Portofino?

Gigi Johnson: Yes, yes I do. I am currently a doctor at Bayview Medical Center where I work as a OB-GYN and a MD. I love being able to care for people when they need it most. Whether it be they are hurt or sick, its nice to be there for them. It is also very important to me to make a mother and father feel like their journey in the maternity world can be a special and priceless experience when they welcome their new baby into the world. I am so happy and honored to be a part of that with them.

What do you love the most about Portofino?

Gigi Johnson: I love the people here the most. Everyone is so nice and willing to help and make you feel like you are a part of everything they do. It's nice! It's warm and welcoming here. There are also so many opportunities to do great things here along side of colleagues and friends.
